Land Acquisition & Compensation Project Commences at a Major Papua New Guinea Mine
Spatial Dimension’s Tyrone Harmsen, Simone Vieira, and Ian Brumfitt recently completed an intensive design workshop in Papua New Guinea to extend the existing Landfolio system to accommodate land acquisition and compensation processes for the mine's operations.
Leveraging Landfolio's flexible data model, this project builds on similar processes managed across the company's other global operations to improve compliance tracking and land management practices.

Proposed Changes to South Africa’s Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA)
South Africa’s Department of Justice and Constitutional Development has invited the public to submit feedback on the draft General (Mining) Laws Amendment Bill, 2026.
The draft Bill introduces key updates to the MPRDA, including severe penalties up to R100m ($61 805 USD).
