Introducing the Landfolio Caribbean User Group Meeting

 

Spatial Dimension’s Brian Greening joined the 2025 GKI Caribbean Summit in Sint Maarten, where leaders came together to shape a shared vision for sustainable land management across the Caribbean. 

 

The summit also kicked off a new regional Landfolio Caribbean User Group with an inaugural meeting led by Kadastre St. Maarten, creating a space for our community in the region to connect and share best practices on using the platform.

Angola Launches Digital Mining Cadastre on Landfolio eSuite

 

 

Angola officially launched its digital mining cadastre with Landfolio eSuite at the 2025 Angola International Mining Conference in Luanda, as part of the country’s National Development Plan for 2023–2027.

 

Spatial Dimension and OceanGeo were proud sponsors of the conference, where we connected with industry leaders and shared how we are helping modernise land and resource governance across Angola and Africa.

 

Angola’s Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Gas, Diamantino Pedro Azevedo, described the launch of the digital mining cadastre as a step into “a new era of transformation”.

Zambia Issues 3,869 Licences Under Its Digital Cadastre System

 

 

Since January 2024, Zambia’s fully digital mining cadastre system has issued 3,869 licences, reducing application processing times by 66.6% and enabling 16 online services. 

 

Powered by Landfolio eSuite, this milestone is setting a new standard for efficiency to attract mining investments for the country.

The International Energy Agency’s 2025 Global Critical Minerals Outlook reveals that global investment in critical minerals such as lithium, nickel, copper, and cobalt totalled USD 6.8 billion over the period 2021–2024.

 

This growth reflects the intensifying global competition for supply and the urgent need to meet demands driven by ambitious net-zero targets.
